Toppled Tree Brings Down Power Lines, Shutting Down Several Tuckahoe Roads

Several roadways were temporarily shut down in Tuckahoe when a tree fell onto a roadway, bringing down several power lines.

On Wednesday afternoon, a tree was knocked over near the intersection of Rogers Street and Maynard Street, breaking a utility pole and toppling several wires, causing a hazard in the area.

There were closures on Marble Place, Rogers Street and Maynard Street between Rogers Street and North High Street. Crews have since cleaned up the area and the roads have been re-opened.
